A story of How we got 10,000 Web Visitors On The Day Of Cuddle Launch

If you are interested in starting a business, launching new products or pivoting in to a new model in your business, I have 3 amazing ideas you will definitely find useful.
In my last email, I promised you I was going to tell you more about Cuddle Realty, a real estate firm I co-founded with two amazing partners of mine.
We launched Cuddle Realty on the 30th May, 2022 and we were shocked by the results we got in 24 hours.
The first thing that happened was that we got a funding offer from FCMB through a friend of mine who posted about Cuddle on her status. They were willing to invest some funds in our company.
Another important that happened on that day was that we got massive impression on Twitter and over 10,000 website visits.
We also got featured in the press news.
Not to forget that we were also invited by Silver bird to share our story on their platform.
Finally, we got our first 1 million naira on the day of launch. One Million naira is so small but for a startup where the solution we decided to help people start real estate with 20,000 naira, the One million was huge and the money came from one customer.
We started with 30 users on the day of launch and as at today, we have over 380 Users as at the time I am writing this email.
There are still lots of grounds to cover but here are the 3 things we did to get to this point:
Problem-Worthy Idea: What are you working on? Is it really a problem that people can identify with? Are people really struggling with the problem?
Before we launched Cuddle, a lot of people have told us how difficult it was for them to buy property because of the capital involved so when we launched, there was an automatic acceptance.
Build Momentum: If you are penetrating a market, you have to get to work. Stop waiting till you launch before you start marketing. Build up momentum for your product.
If you are starting a Cake-Baking Company, one way to start your penetration is to start organizing training for people who are interested in learning.
Before we launched Cuddle, we built so much momentum that we had 40,000 plus people on our waiting list so we were not surprised at the metrics on the day of launch.Empathetic Selling: This is a selling that appeals to emotions of men. It is not logical or rational. You are telling your customer that “We are aware of your problem and your struggles with it and we didn’t just watch you continue the struggle with the problem, we took action to give a helping hand”
